Lydia went to the swimming pool yesterday for the first time. At first she was apprehensive but soon she realized how much fun it was. She laughed, kicked and splashed for well over 2 hours.
Here she is doing her prescribed “tummy time” which she hates. Her Pysical Therpist comes out...
Sometimes, I wish I had a point and shoot camera. A tiny, little camera that could fit in my purse or diaper bag. I just don’t have the energy, strength, or extra pair of hands to bring my regular camera when I take the kids to the park, zoo or science...
Lydia had some broccoli. She ate it, but she looks a bit confused…
And she got it stuck under her eye patch. I am not really sure how. Saving it for a later perhaps?
It’s been fun but today I will have to leave my pretend west side suburbanite existence and go back to being mundane mini van mom. Nobody will say to me “What a sweet ride!” anymore. But that’s ok. My van gets way better mileage. Well, maybe not way...
